Dive into a summer adventure, exploring all the way from the depths of the ocean to the very highest stars, through the eyes of Tarnanthi artists. Explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art on a Discovery tour, sketch tour or Auslan encounter. Connect to culture with your hands in a weaving workshop, or with your feet in a hip-hop inspired dance session!

Learn traditional weaving with Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna and Narungga artist Carly Dodd, 2018 NAIDOC SA Young Person of the Year.

Conversation Canvas
with Claire Wildish & sons
Enjoy a visual conversation and workshop with artist Claire Wildish and her kids Jonah and Hugo, who spent five years growing up in the remote Irrunytju Aboriginal community. Make your mark on the conversation canvas while hearing tales of connection to country, stranding and rescue, art supplies in unlikely places, and the malpa wiru (good friends) who changed their lives.

with Storytelling performances
Don a colourful costume, befriend a larger-than-life native creature, and enjoy a tall tale from master storyteller Greg Wood in Evelyn Roth’s incredible inflatable playland.

Auslan Art Encounter
with Samantha Wilson and Amber Venner
A signed and spoken, Deaf-led encounter with a Tarnanthi artwork. This is an Auslan-centred session with spoken English interpretation, for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing people alike. All welcome!

Join Neo's teen ambassadors as they share their thought-provoking insights and unique perspectives on art.

Sketch Tours with Thomas Readett
Grab your pencil and come on a sketch tour of Tarnanthi with Ngarrindjeri artist and AGSA Education Officer Thomas Readett.

Dance performance workshop
Move it Dance! with Nikki Ashby and Of Desert and Sea dancers
Pop and lock with Kaurna and Narrunga dancer and choreographer Nikki Ashby in an energetic movement workshop for all ages. A joyful way of learning cultural dance to hip hop beats!

Groove to the smooth tunes of DJ EJ, an up-and coming young Torres Strait Islander DJ hot off the Northern Sound System decks!
